Think about the stories you tell, the ones that always start with, "Remember that time we..." Chances are, they began with someone saying, "This sounds like a terrible idea, but..."

When we were younger, those terrible ideas usually involved very little money, questionable judgment, and friends who were just as willing to say yes as we were. Somehow, those moments became the defining stories of our friendships and some of the best memories of our lives.

Just because we're older, wiser (maybe), and more responsible doesn't mean we have to act that way all the time! When was the last time you let your hair down? Stayed out until 2:00 a.m.? Watched the sunrise from the beach? Jumped in the car with no destination? Said yes before you had time to overthink it?

This week, bring back that energy! Not the bad judgment—the excitement. The spontaneity. The laughter. The stories that begin with, "This is probably a terrible idea..." and end with, "I'm so glad we did that."
